Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Macon

The drive from Brussels Airport to Macon

Macon lies 130 km (81 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport. The journey normally takes around 1 h 41 m. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver is briefed for the full distance. The route leaves the Brussels area and continues south through Wallonia, so the last part of the trip runs through quieter country roads rather than motorway traffic.

Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in poor winter weather. The stated driving time is typical, not guaranteed. If you have an onward appointment in Macon, plan a small buffer after landing for passport control and baggage collection.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. Choose the 1-3 passenger car for light luggage, or the 1-4 passenger car if you are travelling as four. Larger parties are better off in a minibus, which keeps everyone and their bags in one vehicle:

• 8 seats for a family or small group with extra suitcases
• 16 and 24 seats for wedding parties, clubs and business teams
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large delegations, tour groups and events

If you are unsure, pick the larger size when you have bulky luggage such as sports gear or instrument cases.

About Macon

Macon is a small village in the Hainaut province in the south of Belgium, not far from the French border. It is a rural, peaceful place, and the surrounding area is known for its countryside and quiet villages rather than big-city sights. Because it is so small, it is worth sharing the exact street address with your booking so the driver can take you right to the door.
