The drive from Brussels Airport to Luxembourg

The journey covers 215 km (134 miles) and typically takes 2 h 18 m by road. This is a long transfer, so it helps to start it with a rested driver and no connections to catch. Allow extra time if you travel at rush hour around Brussels or on arrival in Luxembourg, since traffic, roadworks and winter weather can all add to the usual duration. Your driver handles the route, so you can relax, work or sleep for most of the trip.

Choosing the right vehicle

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or (1-4 passengers): suited to individual travellers, couples and small families. Choose the larger one if you carry several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for a group of friends or a family with plenty of luggage.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for business teams, tour parties and larger family gatherings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for conference delegations, school groups and organised tours travelling together.

Luxembourg city as a destination

Luxembourg city is the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a major centre for banking and European institutions. The old town and its fortifications are a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the Bock Casemates and the Grund valley among the best-known sights. Business visitors often head for the Kirchberg district, while others stay near the central railway station or in the historic centre. Your transfer can serve all areas of the city, so just give your driver the exact address.
