Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Lutterzele

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can head straight there and meet your driver without searching the terminal.

The Drive from BRU to Lutterzele

The route covers 45 km (28 miles) and usually takes around 49 minutes. Lutterzele is not one of the most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other, and your driver will know the way. Traffic around Brussels can slow things down, especially during the morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so it is sensible to allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or an onward commitment at the other end. Because the transfer is private, there are no stops for other passengers and you travel door to door.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you pick depends on your group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, families and small business groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats and 16 Seats: a good fit for larger families, friends travelling together or small teams with extra luggage.
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for tour groups, wedding parties, sports clubs and company events, so everyone arrives together in one vehicle.

If you are unsure, choose the next size up when you carry bulky items such as sports equipment or several large suitcases.

Lutterzele and Where to Stay

Lutterzele is a small village in East Flanders, part of the municipality of Oosterzele. It has a quiet, rural character, with the Flemish countryside all around. That makes it a calm base for visiting family or for business in the area, but it is not a place with a large choice of hotels. If you want a well-known hotel, the nearest major city is Ghent, where long-established options include:

• Hotel Gravensteen, a historic hotel in the city centre.
• NH Gent Belfort, close to the Belfry and the old town.
• Novotel Gent Centrum, a practical choice near the centre.

If your accommodation is in Ghent rather than in Lutterzele itself, mention this when you book so that your driver has the right drop-off address.
