Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Lummen

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Lummen

The transfer covers 65 km (41 miles) and normally takes around 40 minutes. That makes it a comfortable ride after a flight, with no changes of train or bus and no luggage to carry through stations. Lummen is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the route is available on request just like any other. Because the road runs through the busy Brussels and Leuven corridor, it is sensible to allow extra time if you travel during the morning or late-afternoon rush hours, or if you need to be somewhere at a fixed time such as a business meeting or a family event.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice. We offer one version for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4 passengers, so check your luggage as well as your headcount before you book. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for wedding guests, sports teams, company delegations and school or club trips heading to the same address in Lummen. Everyone travels together in one vehicle, so nobody has to find their own way from the airport.

Meeting Point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there after the baggage hall.

About Lummen

• Location: Lummen is a municipality in the Belgian province of Limburg, in a mostly green and rural part of Flanders.
• Surroundings: It lies within reach of the larger town of Hasselt, which many visitors use as a reference point.
• Character: It is a quiet place, so a door-to-door transfer is often more practical than relying on connections from the airport.

Please give the driver the full street address when you book, so the drop-off goes smoothly even if your destination is on a small residential road.
