Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Loksbergen

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Loksbergen

Loksbergen lies 61 km (38 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the trip normally takes about 42 minutes. The route leads east from the airport area towards Flanders' Limburg province, so most of the journey is on motorway before you reach the quieter local roads near the village. Loksbergen is not a route many travellers book, but we arrange it on request like any other transfer. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush, when traffic around Brussels and Leuven can slow things down. Bad weather can also add some minutes, so a small buffer is sensible if you have a connection or an appointment waiting for you.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you book depends mostly on group size and luggage.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers): a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: practical for wedding parties, sports teams and small company groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for tour groups, school trips and larger events, with everyone travelling together in one vehicle.

If you are unsure which size fits, choose the larger option when you carry bulky items such as sports gear or instruments.
