Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Liers

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem Airport to Liers

The road transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Liers covers 38 km (24 miles) and typically takes about 38 minutes. That is a comfortable journey after a flight, with no need to work out connections or carry luggage between stations. Traffic around Brussels can be heavy on weekday mornings and late afternoons, and bad weather can slow things down. If you have a fixed appointment in Liers, add a little buffer to the standard driving time.

Meeting Point at the Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. You can walk there directly from the baggage hall.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and the amount of luggage you carry.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers): a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats: intended for tour groups, teams, conferences and other larger parties, with capacity for up to 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 passengers respectively.

If you are unsure, pick the next size up. Extra space makes the ride more comfortable, especially with bulky luggage or sports equipment.

Arriving in Liers

Liers is a smaller destination in Belgium, and this route is booked less often than the busiest airport transfers. It is available on request like any other. Because smaller places can have narrow streets or similar-sounding street names, give the exact drop-off address when you book. A complete address with house number helps the driver take you straight to the door without detours.
