Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to La Bouverie

Meeting Point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without a long search through the terminal.

The Drive from Zaventem to La Bouverie

The journey covers 88 km (55 miles) and typically takes 1 h 3 m. The route leads from the Brussels area towards the province of Hainaut in the south-west of the country. It is a straightforward transfer, but traffic around Brussels can change the timing considerably. Weekday mornings and late afternoons are the busiest, so allow some extra margin if you have a hotel check-in, a meeting or an appointment at a fixed time. Roadworks and weather can also add minutes, and your driver will adapt the route as needed.

La Bouverie is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request, just like any other address. Please give the exact pickup or drop-off address when booking so the driver can plan the final stretch.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle depends on how many people and how much luggage you are bringing:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to individual travellers, couples, and small families. Choose the larger one if you carry several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or small groups of colleagues.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats: practical for team trips, wedding guests or club outings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: designed for big groups, such as tour parties, school trips and company events.

When in doubt, pick the next size up. Extra space for bags makes the ride more comfortable, especially after a long flight.

About La Bouverie

The surrounding area is part of the Borinage, a region historically shaped by coal mining.
