Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Kuringen

The drive from BRU to Kuringen

The route covers 75 km (47 miles) and usually takes about 48 minutes by road. Kuringen is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other. Because the drive heads east from the Brussels area towards Limburg, it can pass through busy stretches at weekday rush hours. If you have a fixed appointment or a connecting journey, add a buffer to the 48-minute estimate. Bad weather and roadworks can also slow things down.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and your luggage. For small parties, there are two private taxi options: one for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. The larger one is the better choice when you are travelling with several suitcases.

Larger groups, such as families, business delegations, sports teams or wedding guests, can book a private minibus. The minibuses seat 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 passengers. Pick the size that leaves room for bags as well as people, and the whole group can travel together in one vehicle.

Kuringen as a destination

Kuringen is a district of Hasselt, the capital of the province of Limburg in Flanders. It has a residential character and sits close to the centre of Hasselt, so many travellers use it as a base for visiting the city or for business and family visits in the area. Please give the driver the full street address when you book, so the drop-off is exact and no time is lost searching for the right house or entrance.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver without delay.
