Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Kraainem

The drive from BRU to Kraainem

Kraainem lies just 7 km (5 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 10 minutes. It is a short hop, so you can be at your door soon after your luggage arrives. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours on the roads around the Brussels ring can slow things down, so allow a little extra time if you have a tight connection or an appointment.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. If you are travelling with a larger party, private minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Pick the size that matches your group and its luggage, and everyone arrives together in one vehicle rather than splitting up.

Heading back to the airport
