Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Korbeek-Lo

The drive from Brussels Airport to Korbeek-Lo

The route covers 29 km (18 miles) and typically takes around 24 minutes. It leads east from Zaventem towards the Leuven area, so you leave the airport zone quickly and reach quieter countryside roads towards the end. Korbeek-Lo is an occasionally booked destination, which makes a pre-arranged ride the simplest way to get there. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or evening rush hour, when traffic around Brussels slows down.

Meeting point at the airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the right vehicle

For smaller parties there are two taxi options:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 passengers
• Private Taxi for 1-4 passengers

Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits families with a lot of luggage, wedding parties, or teams arriving together. Choose the vehicle by the number of people and bags, so everyone travels in one car.

About Korbeek-Lo

Korbeek-Lo is a small village in the municipality of Bierbeek, in Flemish Brabant, close to the university city of Leuven. It is a quiet, rural place, so most visitors come to see family, attend a local event or combine a stay with a trip to Leuven.

Where to stay nearby

Korbeek-Lo is small, and I cannot name accommodations there with confidence. The nearest town with well-known hotels is Leuven, a short drive away. Two established options there are Martin's Klooster Hotel, set in a converted historic building, and the Leuven Marriott Hotel, near the centre. Tell your driver the exact address of your accommodation when you book, so the drop-off goes smoothly.
