Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Kluizen

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Kluizen

The road journey covers 83 km (52 miles) and typically takes 1 h 0 m. You leave the airport area, join the motorway network around Brussels and continue west into East Flanders. Weekday rush hours on the Brussels ring can add time, so allow a little extra if you have a fixed appointment at the other end. Kluizen is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other route.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight over without searching the arrivals hall.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, with options for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. Families or groups with extra luggage may prefer the 8-seat minibus. For larger groups such as wedding parties, company teams or club trips, minibuses are available with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Everyone travels together in one vehicle, which makes arrival and drop-off simple.

About Kluizen

Kluizen is a small village in East Flanders, part of the municipality of Evergem close to Ghent. It is a quiet, rural setting rather than a tourist centre, so most visitors come to see family and friends, for local events or for business in the Ghent area. Please give your driver the exact street address, since the village is small and several places share similar names across Flanders.

Where to Stay Near Kluizen

Kluizen itself has very limited accommodation, so most visitors stay in nearby Ghent, a short drive away. Well-known choices there include:

• Hotel Gravensteen, a hotel in a converted historic mansion in the city centre
• Marriott Ghent, on the Korenlei along the Leie river
• Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof, set in a historic townhouse in the old town

Tell your driver which hotel you have booked and the transfer can end directly at the door.
