Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Kieldrecht

The Drive from BRU to Kieldrecht

The route covers 63 km (39 miles) and usually takes around 45 minutes by road. Most of the journey is on motorway, heading north-west from Zaventem towards the Antwerp area and then on to the Waasland region. Weekday rush hours around Brussels and Antwerp can slow traffic, so if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make, it is wise to allow some extra time.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Couples and small families fit comfortably in a private taxi, which is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. For larger parties, private minibuses are offered with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This makes the route workable for anything from a family with suitcases to a work crew, a wedding party or a coach-sized group. When you book, count your luggage as well as your passengers, and choose the next size up if you are travelling with bulky items.

About Kieldrecht

Kieldrecht is a small village in East Flanders, part of the municipality of Beveren in the Waasland region. It lies close to the Dutch border and to the left bank of the Port of Antwerp, so the surroundings combine flat polder countryside with port and industrial areas. Visitors usually come for business at the port, to visit family, or to explore the quiet landscape of the area. Because it is a small place, it is helpful to have the exact street address ready when you book, so the driver can take you to your door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there after baggage reclaim.
