Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Kermt

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Kermt

The route covers 72 km (45 miles) and typically takes about 48 minutes. It leads east from Zaventem towards the province of Limburg, mostly on motorway. Kermt is not a frequently requested destination, but the transfer is arranged on request like any other route. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon peaks, when traffic around Brussels and on the main roads towards Limburg slows down. Bad weather can add to the journey as well.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage and walked into the arrivals area.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle options depend on the size of your group and how much luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: work well for wedding parties, club trips and company groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: cover large delegations, school groups and event guests in a single vehicle.

If you are travelling with sports equipment, prams or oversized luggage, choose a vehicle with more seats than you strictly need so everything fits comfortably.

About Kermt

Kermt is a village in the municipality of Hasselt, in the Belgian province of Limburg. It is a quiet, largely residential area surrounded by the green, flat countryside typical of the region. Hasselt, the provincial capital, lies close by, so the transfer works well for visitors heading to the village itself or to the wider Hasselt area. Since Kermt is a small place, it helps to have the exact street address ready for your driver.
