Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Kapellen

The drive from Zaventem to Kapellen

Kapellen lies 58 km (36 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes around 42 minutes. The route heads north towards Antwerp and continues to the northern side of the city. Kapellen is not one of the most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request like any other. Rush hour on the roads around Brussels and Antwerp can slow things down, so allow extra time if you have a fixed appointment, a dinner reservation or an onward connection at the other end.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, with one option for up to 3 passengers and another for up to 4. For larger groups there are private minibuses with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Families with several suitcases, wedding parties and company groups can travel together in one vehicle instead of splitting up. If you carry bulky luggage, such as sports equipment or prams, pick the next size up so everyone has room.

About Kapellen

Kapellen is a municipality in the province of Antwerp, north of the city of Antwerp and not far from the Dutch border. It is a mostly residential area with a quieter feel than the city centre. That makes it a convenient base for visitors to family and friends in the area, or for those who commute to Antwerp or the port district. Check the exact address with your host or accommodation before travelling, so the driver can take you directly to the door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there once you are through the baggage hall.
