Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Kampen

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

The Drive to Kampen

The route covers 246 km (153 miles) and normally takes around 2 h 47 m. It crosses the border into the Netherlands and runs mostly on motorways. Kampen is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Antwerp and the larger Dutch cities, as congestion there can add to the journey. A private transfer saves you from planning the route yourself and takes you straight to your address.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits wedding guests, business delegations and tour groups travelling with luggage. Pick the vehicle by the number of people and bags, so everyone rides together in comfort.

About Kampen

Kampen is a historic Hanseatic town on the IJssel river in the province of Overijssel. Its old centre is known for its medieval city gates, the Bovenkerk church and the Nieuwe Toren, and it is pleasant to explore on foot. The riverside setting and compact streets make it a calm base for a weekend or a business visit.

Where to Stay Nearby

For a wider choice of hotels, the neighbouring city of Zwolle is a short drive from Kampen and has some well-established addresses:

• Grand Hotel Wientjes, a traditional hotel close to Zwolle's historic centre.
• Librije's Hotel, housed in a former prison building and known for its connection to the renowned De Librije restaurant.

Tell us your hotel or address when booking and the driver will take you directly to the door.
