Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Itegem

The drive from Brussels Airport to Itegem

Itegem lies 46 km (29 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes around 43 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other, so you can arrange it ahead of your arrival. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hours, when the roads around Brussels and Mechelen are busier than usual. Bad weather can also add a few minutes. A private transfer takes you from the terminal to your address in one go, without changes or waiting for connections.

Which vehicle suits your group

For smaller parties, a private taxi is the simplest choice. There are versions for 1-3 passengers and for 1-4 passengers, so pick the one that matches your group and luggage. Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for families travelling together, business teams, wedding guests or clubs visiting the area. Everyone arrives together in one vehicle, which makes the final stretch easy to coordinate. If you are unsure how much luggage will fit, choose the next size up.
