Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Imde

The drive from BRU to Imde

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Imde covers 399 km (248 miles), and the typical driving time is 4 h 7 m without stops. On a trip of this length it is sensible to allow extra time for rush-hour traffic around Brussels, roadworks and poor weather. If you would like a rest break along the way, your driver can arrange one. The route is booked less often than the airport's most popular transfers, but it is available on request like any other.

Choosing the right vehicle

Over four hours on the road, comfort and luggage space matter. Pick the vehicle by group size and by how much baggage you are bringing:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits individual travellers, couples, families and small groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers): a good fit for larger families or friends travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for mid-sized groups, teams and family gatherings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large parties, event guests and organised tours.

If you are unsure, choose the next size up so everyone has room to stretch out on the long ride.

About Imde

Imde is a small place in Belgium, so a private transfer is a practical way to get there from the airport, with no connections to plan along the way. When you book, give the full address of your destination so the final stretch is accurate.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage. Head there straight from baggage reclaim and your driver will take care of the rest.
