Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hyon

The drive from Brussels Airport to Hyon

The transfer covers 201 km (125 miles) and typically takes 2 h 9 m. That is a long ride after a flight, so a private car with a driver who is already waiting is easier than planning a multi-leg journey with luggage. Hyon is not among our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request just like any other route. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush around Brussels, or when the weather is bad, since the first part of the trip usually runs through the busiest roads.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups can choose between a Private Taxi for 1-3 passengers and a Private Taxi for 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option gives a little more room for luggage, so it is worth picking if you are four people or carrying large suitcases.

Larger parties can book a minibus:

• Private Minibus 8 Seats for 1-8 passengers, suitable for families or small groups with luggage
• Private Minibus 16 Seats for 1-16 passengers
• Private Minibus 24 Seats for 1-24 passengers
• Private Minibus 32 Seats for 1-32 passengers
• Private Minibus 40 Seats for 1-40 passengers
• Private Minibus 48 Seats for 1-48 passengers, for the largest tour groups, wedding parties or company events

With a long ride of over two hours, it makes sense to choose a vehicle with some spare room rather than filling every seat.

About Hyon

Hyon is a small place in the French-speaking part of Belgium, in the province of Hainaut. It is a quiet residential area rather than a major tourist destination, so it helps to have the exact street address ready when you book. This allows the driver to take you right to the door instead of dropping you at a general landmark.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching around the terminal.
