Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Humelgem

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Humelgem

Humelgem lies 13 km (8 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is around 16 minutes. That makes it a short hop, so you can be at your door shortly after leaving the terminal. Humelgem is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Travel times are a guide only. Weekday rush hours, roadworks and bad weather around the airport can add to the journey, so build in a little extra time if you have to reach an appointment or a connection after the transfer. If you are travelling from Humelgem to the airport, plan to leave earlier than the bare driving time suggests, so you are not rushed at check-in and security.

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

After you have collected your luggage, your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find from the baggage reclaim area, so there is no need to search the arrivals hall.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Group

For a short transfer like this, the right vehicle mostly depends on group size and luggage. The options are:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) for solo travellers, couples or small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) for a group of four, with a little more seating flexibility.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats for mid-sized groups, such as wedding parties or business teams.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats for large groups, events and organised tours that want to arrive together.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so everyone has space for their luggage.
