Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hove

The Drive from Zaventem to Hove

The transfer covers 36 km (23 miles) and typically takes around 31 minutes. Your driver heads out of the airport area and continues towards the province of Antwerp. Hove is only a short distance from the city of Antwerp itself. On weekday mornings and late afternoons, traffic around Brussels and on the approach to Antwerp can slow things down, so add a little buffer if you have a tight schedule at the other end.

Meeting Point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there after baggage reclaim.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For small parties, a private taxi is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, and the larger one suits a family with a few suitcases. Larger groups can book a private minibus:

• 8 seats for a group of friends or colleagues
• 16 and 24 seats for company teams or extended families
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for tours, events and conference delegations

If your group is close to a vehicle's limit and carries a lot of luggage, choosing the next size up gives everyone more room.

About Hove

Hove is a municipality in the province of Antwerp in Flanders, in the southeastern part of the Antwerp urban area. It is a residential and largely quiet place, close to neighbouring Mortsel, Edegem and Boechout. Most visitors come to see family, to attend business appointments in the region, or to stay near Antwerp without being in the centre.

Where to Stay Nearby

Hove itself is small, so many travellers choose accommodation in nearby Antwerp, the closest major city. Well-known options there include the Hilton Antwerp Old Town and the Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel, the latter close to Antwerp-Central station. Both are established, central hotels that work well as a base for exploring the region.
