Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Houyet

The drive from Brussels Airport to Houyet

Houyet lies 108 km (68 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 1 h 13 m. The route leaves the Brussels area and continues south into the province of Namur, finishing on smaller roads in the Ardennes foothills. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in wet or wintry weather, when the last stretch through the hills can be slower.

Choosing the right vehicle

Small parties are best served by a private taxi. We offer one for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, which is useful if you travel with a bit more luggage. For larger groups, there are private minibuses with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. They suit family gatherings, wedding guests, hiking clubs and company outings heading to the Lesse valley. Pick the size that leaves room for suitcases as well as people, as the countryside around Houyet rarely offers an easy second trip.
