Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hotel Villa Royale, Brussels

The drive from BRU to Hotel Villa Royale

The route covers 15 km (9 miles) and usually takes around 21 minutes. That makes it a short, uncomplicated transfer, even though it is a less frequently booked route. It is available on request like any other. Most of the journey runs on the main roads from Zaventem into the city, and traffic is the one variable. Weekday mornings and late afternoons are the busiest times on the approach to Brussels, so allow some extra time if you have a meeting or a fixed check-in window. Outside those hours the drive tends to be smooth.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a Private Taxi is the simplest choice. It is offered for 1-3 passengers or for 1-4 passengers, so pick the version that suits your party and the amount of luggage you carry. Larger groups can book a Private Minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 or 64 seats. Choose the size by total head count, and go one step up if the group travels with a lot of suitcases or sports equipment. Wedding parties, business delegations and tour groups arriving together can all be taken to the hotel in a single vehicle.

Places to stay in Brussels

Hotel Villa Royale is in Brussels, a city with a long tradition of hospitality. If you are comparing options or planning a few extra nights, several established addresses are well known to visitors:

• Hotel Metropole, a historic grand hotel on Place de Brouckère, open since the late 19th century.
• Hotel Amigo, a long-standing hotel right beside the Grand-Place.
• Le Plaza Brussels, a classic hotel near Place Rogier dating from the 1930s.

All three are in the centre, so the same airport transfer works for them as well.

Meeting Point
