Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hotel Catalonia Brussels

The drive from BRU to Hotel Catalonia Brussels

The route covers 17 km (11 miles) and normally takes about 28 minutes. Most of the trip is on the main roads between Zaventem and the city, so the journey is straightforward. Brussels traffic can build up noticeably during the morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so it is sensible to allow some extra time if you have a fixed check-in, a meeting or a tight schedule.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage and come through to the arrivals area.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. One taxi takes 1-3 passengers and another takes 1-4, which helps if you have an extra bag or a child seat to fit in. Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 or 64 seats. This suits business delegations, tour parties, wedding guests and teams arriving on the same flight. Pick the size by the number of people and the amount of luggage, and go one step up if you are close to the limit.
