Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hotel Brussels

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight over and meet your driver without searching.

The Drive from Zaventem to Your Hotel

The hotel lies 13 km (8 miles) from the airport, and the drive typically takes around 17 minutes. The route heads from Zaventem toward the city centre, so it is short and simple. Traffic on the approach roads to Brussels can build up during the morning and evening rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have a tight connection or a meeting soon after arrival. Because this is a private transfer, you go directly to your hotel entrance with no stops for other passengers and no need to find your way across the city with luggage.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The transfer is available with vehicles for almost any group size:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, suited to solo travellers, couples, and small families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats for up to 8 passengers, useful for larger families or friends travelling with plenty of luggage.
• Private Minibus 16 to 64 Seats, in steps of 8 seats (16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64), for tour parties, conference delegations, school trips, and other large groups.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle and carry bulky bags, it is sensible to choose the next size up for comfort.

Places to Stay in Brussels

Brussels has a good range of long-established hotels, many of them in the historic centre. Among the best known are the Hotel Metropole on Place de Brouckère, a grand 19th-century property that is the city's only remaining hotel from that era, the Hotel Amigo, a short walk from the Grand-Place, and the Hotel Le Plaza Brussels, a classic address near the city's northern boulevards. Whichever hotel you have booked, give the driver the full name and address when you book so that the drop-off is as close to the entrance as possible.
