Traffic into central Brussels is heaviest during weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed check-in or meeting. Hotel Amigo is a well-known address in the historic centre of Brussels, close to the Grand Place. It is a good base for exploring the old town on foot. Train to Brussels-Central, then a short walk to Hotel Amigo, 0 changes required, approx. 30–40 minutes total. Trains run from the station beneath the airport terminal. The streets around the Grand Place are busy and partly pedestrianised, so with heavy luggage a private transfer is simpler.
