Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hostel Louise, Brussels

The drive from Zaventem to Hostel Louise

The route covers about 15 km (9 miles) between Brussels Zaventem Airport and Hostel Louise in Brussels. In normal traffic the drive takes around 21 minutes. Weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours can slow the approach into the city, so it is sensible to add a buffer if you have a fixed check-in or a tight onward plan. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so you can arrange it ahead of your arrival.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small groups usually fit a private taxi, with options for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. If you travel with more luggage or a bigger party, the private minibus with 8 seats is the next step up. School trips, tour groups and teams can choose larger minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 or 64 seats, so everyone can arrive together in a single vehicle. Pick the size by the number of people and bags rather than by passengers alone.

Meeting point at the airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there after baggage reclaim.
