Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hoogstade

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Hoogstade

Hoogstade lies 153 km (96 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey typically takes 1 h 42 m. The route crosses Flanders towards the west, so the last stretch runs on smaller regional roads rather than motorway. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour around the Brussels ring, or in heavy rain or fog. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other.

Meeting Point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. It comes in a 1-3 passenger version and a 1-4 passenger version, so pick the one that suits your party and your luggage. Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Choose the size that matches your full group, including everyone's bags, so nobody has to squeeze in on a drive of well over an hour and a half.

About Hoogstade

Hoogstade is a small village in West Flanders, part of the municipality of Alveringem. The surroundings are quiet, flat farmland, typical of the Flemish countryside near Veurne. It is a place to arrive at a specific address rather than a destination with a busy centre. Give your driver the exact street and house number when booking, so the final part of the trip on narrow rural roads goes smoothly.
