Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hofstade

The drive from Zaventem to Hofstade

Hofstade lies 17 km (11 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 17 minutes. This is an occasionally booked route, so a pre-arranged private transfer is a simple way to avoid working out connections on arrival. Morning and evening rush hours around Brussels can slow traffic, so allow some extra time if you have a tight appointment or a departing flight to catch.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples and small families fit comfortably in a private taxi, available for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. Larger parties with extra luggage are better suited to the 8-seat minibus. For groups, the fleet continues with 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48-seat minibuses, so wedding parties, company teams and club outings can all travel together in one vehicle. Choose the size by passenger count and luggage rather than by seats alone.

Hofstade as a destination

It is best known for its recreation area with a lake, which draws visitors from across the region in summer.
