Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hoensbroek

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without searching the terminal.

The Drive to Hoensbroek

Hoensbroek lies 120 km (75 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 1 h 17 m. The trip leads from Belgium across the border into the Dutch province of Limburg. Because this is a less frequently booked route, it is arranged on request, just like every other transfer. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour, when roads around Brussels and other busy stretches can slow down. Bad weather can also add minutes, so a small buffer is wise if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business travellers.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 or 32 Seats: practical for teams, clubs and tour parties.
• Private Minibus 40 or 48 Seats: made for big groups, conference delegations or organised trips that want to stay together.

If you carry bulky items such as sports gear or several large suitcases, choose the next size up for comfort.

About Hoensbroek

Hoensbroek is a district of Heerlen in the south of the Dutch province of Limburg. It is best known for Kasteel Hoensbroek, a moated castle that draws visitors to the area. The region has a mining past and today combines residential neighbourhoods with easy access to the wider Heerlen area. Give your driver the exact street address when you book, so the drop-off point is clear from the start.
