Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hodoumont

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Hodoumont

Hodoumont lies 96 km (60 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey by road typically takes 1 h 8 m. The route leads east, away from the Brussels region and towards the province of Liège. Because the first stretch runs close to the capital, weekday morning and late-afternoon traffic can add noticeable time. If you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch, it is sensible to allow a buffer on top of the usual driving time.

This route is booked less often than the airport's busiest destinations, but it is available on request like any other transfer. Your journey is private, so there are no shared stops along the way.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends mainly on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, families and small business groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats and 16 Seats: a good fit for larger families, friends travelling together or small teams with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: designed for tour groups, clubs, school parties and event delegations of up to 48 passengers.

If you are travelling with bulky luggage, sports equipment or a pushchair, consider choosing the next size up so everyone can sit comfortably.

About Hodoumont

Hodoumont is a small village in the French-speaking east of Belgium, in the province of Liège. The surrounding countryside is green and hilly, and the area is quieter than the nearby cities. Travellers heading here are typically visiting family and friends, attending local events or using the village as a base for exploring the region. Because it is a small place, it is worth having the exact street address ready when you book so the driver can take you right to the door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching.
