Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hodister

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Hodister

Hodister lies 121 km (76 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey usually takes about 1 h 20 m. The route leads out of the Brussels region and south-east into the Belgian Ardennes, where the road gets quieter and more rural. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush around Brussels, or in winter, when Ardennes roads can be affected by snow, ice or fog. This route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it is available on request like any other, so a driver can be arranged for your arrival.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice. Both the 1-3 passenger and the 1-4 passenger versions are available, and the larger one gives a little more room for luggage. Groups of up to 8 can take the 8-seat minibus. Larger parties heading to the Ardennes, such as wedding guests, hiking groups or company retreats, can choose a minibus with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so everyone arrives together in one vehicle.

About Hodister

Hodister is a small village in the Ardennes region of southern Belgium. The area is known for its wooded hills, river valleys and quiet countryside, which makes it popular with walkers, cyclists and anyone looking for a break from the city. Because it is a small place, it is worth giving your driver the exact address of your accommodation so the final stretch goes smoothly, especially on narrow village roads.

Meeting Point

Your driver will be waiting at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage. Once you have met your driver, the transfer to Hodister can begin right away.
