Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Heusy

The drive from Brussels Airport to Heusy

Heusy lies 119 km (74 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes about 1 h 16 m. The route leads east across Belgium towards the province of Liège. It is a less frequently booked transfer, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time during the weekday morning and late afternoon rush around Brussels, and in poor winter weather, as the final stretch passes through the hillier landscape of eastern Wallonia.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on the size of your group and your luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suited to individual travellers, couples, families and small business groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats: for tour groups, sports teams, wedding parties and company outings travelling together.

Choose the smaller category if you are unsure and travelling with a lot of luggage, as space in the boot matters on a longer ride.

Heusy and where to stay nearby

Heusy is a district of Verviers, in the province of Liège in French-speaking Belgium. It is a mainly residential area, and Verviers itself is known for its historic wool industry. I cannot name long-established hotels in Heusy itself with confidence. The well-known spa town of Spa, a short drive away, has two long-standing options:

• Radisson Blu Palace Hotel in Spa
• Hotel Balmoral in Spa

Check the exact address of your accommodation before travelling and give it to us when booking, so the driver can plan the route.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.
