Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Herquegies

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Herquegies

Herquegies lies 93 km (58 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes around 1 h 7 m. That is a fair stretch by road, so it helps to plan with some margin. Morning and late-afternoon traffic around Brussels can slow the first part of the journey, and bad weather can add further time. If you have a tight onward commitment, allow extra time rather than counting on the typical figure.

This route is booked less often than the busy city transfers, but it is available on request just like any other. A private transfer takes you from the terminal to the village without changes or waiting for connections, which matters on a route to a small rural destination.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and luggage.

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats: practical for wedding parties, club outings and mid-sized groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large groups, events and organised tours that want to arrive together.

If you are close to the upper limit of a vehicle, think about luggage as well as headcount and choose the next size up for comfort.

About Herquegies

Herquegies is a small village in Wallonia, the French-speaking part of Belgium. It is a quiet rural place rather than a tourist centre, so it is worth having the exact address of your destination ready. This makes the final stretch of the journey simple for your driver, especially on smaller local roads.
