Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Herchies

The drive from Brussels Zaventem to Herchies

The route covers 299 km (186 miles) and typically takes 3 h 3 m by road. That is a long transfer, so it helps to plan for it. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, on busy holiday weekends, or in poor weather. If your group wants a break along the way, tell the driver and a short stop can usually be arranged.

Herchies is a less frequently booked destination. The transfer is available on request, just like any other route, so it is best to book ahead and give the exact address in advance.

Which vehicle suits your group

The vehicle you choose depends mostly on how many people and how much luggage you are bringing:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) gives a group of four a bit more flexibility on a three-hour ride.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats and 16 Seats fit larger families, friends travelling together and small business groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover bigger parties such as wedding guests, school or sports groups and company events, all in one vehicle.

On a journey of this length, comfort matters more than on a short hop. If you are unsure, choose the next size up so everyone has room for their luggage.

About Herchies

Herchies is a small place in Belgium, and travellers usually go there to visit family, friends or a specific address rather than for sightseeing. Because transfers are door to door, the driver can take you straight to your destination without any changes along the way. Please send the full address and a contact number when you book, as small streets can be hard to find.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. Simply walk over and look for your name.
