Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hensies

The drive from Brussels Airport to Hensies

Hensies lies 99 km (62 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey by road normally takes about 1 h 8 m. The route heads southwest across Belgium towards the French border, so it is a fairly straightforward trip once you are clear of the Brussels area. Traffic around the capital can slow things down at the start, especially in the morning and late afternoon. If you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival, it is sensible to allow some extra time. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver takes you directly to your address.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small families usually fit in a private taxi, which is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Check the passenger count against your luggage, as four people with large suitcases may be more comfortable in a larger vehicle. Larger groups can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for family gatherings, wedding parties, company teams or groups travelling to an event in the region. Everyone arrives together, with no need to coordinate several cars.
