Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hendrieken

The drive from Brussels Airport to Hendrieken

The route covers 86 km (54 miles) and typically takes 1 h 0 m by road. That is a comfortable one-hour ride, but Belgian motorways around Brussels can slow down noticeably during weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours. Rain, roadworks and busy holiday weekends can also add time. If you have a connection, an appointment or a check-in deadline at the other end, it makes sense to plan a buffer rather than count on the exact hour.

Hendrieken is not one of the routes we are asked for most often, but it is available on request just like any other destination. Your driver will have the journey planned before you land.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle should match the size of your group and your luggage, not just the number of seats:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small business groups. Choose the four-passenger option if you are travelling with a fourth person or carrying extra bags.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with plenty of luggage.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: practical for wedding parties, sports teams and company groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large delegations, tour groups and organised events, so everyone arrives together in one vehicle.

If you are unsure, pick the larger option. Having spare room is easier than squeezing in at the last moment.

About Hendrieken

Hendrieken is a small place in Belgium, and it is best thought of as a quiet, local destination rather than a major travel hub. Visitors usually come for a stay with family or friends, a local event or work in the surrounding area. Because there is little in the way of public transport infrastructure at this scale, a private transfer straight to your door is a practical way to arrive. Please have the full address ready when booking so your driver can navigate directly to it.

Meeting Point

After you have collected your luggage, head to Java Coffee House, which is easy to find inside the airport. Your driver will be waiting there with a personalised name sign. Simply look for your name and you can set off without delay.
