Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Helshoven

The drive from Brussels Airport to Helshoven

The route covers 77 km (48 miles), and the typical driving time is about 57 minutes. A private transfer takes you straight from the terminal to your address in Helshoven, with no changes and no need to coordinate timetables after a flight.

This journey starts on busy roads around Brussels, so traffic is the main variable. Weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours can add time, as can bad weather. If you have a fixed appointment or an onward connection, build in a margin beyond the standard travel time.

Choosing the right vehicle

Helshoven is a less frequently requested destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route. The vehicle depends on your group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats: intended for tour groups, teams, wedding parties, and company events, with room for everyone in one vehicle.

If you are travelling with bulky items such as sports equipment or several large suitcases, choose the next size up for comfort.

About Helshoven

Helshoven is a small place in Belgium, so expect a quiet, local setting rather than a busy urban centre. Since it is a small village, it helps to give your driver the full street address and house number in advance, so the final stretch goes smoothly.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching around the terminal.
