Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Heizijde

The drive from Brussels Airport to Heizijde

The transfer covers 88 km (55 miles) and normally takes around 1 h 7 m by road. That is a fair distance, so it is worth planning for the journey rather than treating it as a short hop. Heizijde is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Travel time can change with traffic. Weekday morning and late afternoon rush hours around Brussels and on the main motorways are the usual causes of delays, and bad weather can add more. If you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival, build in some extra time. Your driver will take the most sensible route on the day.

Which vehicle suits your group

The vehicle you choose depends on how many people and how much luggage you have:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling together with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats: practical for mid-sized groups, teams and organised parties.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: designed for big groups, events and tours that need to travel together in one vehicle.

If you are unsure, choose the larger option when you carry a lot of luggage or sports equipment, so everyone has room.

About Heizijde

Heizijde is a small place in Belgium, so you should not expect a large town centre with many facilities around the arrival point. Please give your exact address when you book. This lets the driver plan the final part of the journey and take you right to your door.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.
