Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Heikant

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there without searching the terminal.

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Heikant

The route covers 34 km (22 miles) and typically takes about 30 minutes by road. Heikant is not one of the most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other, with a private vehicle arranged for your arrival.

Travel time can change with traffic. Weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels are the busiest periods, and bad weather can slow things down too. If you have a tight connection or an appointment soon after landing, build in a little extra time.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Group

The vehicle you pick depends on how many people and how much luggage you bring:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with ordinary luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or a group of friends travelling together.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: work well for business teams, wedding parties and organised groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large groups, such as tours, clubs or company events, who want to arrive together in one vehicle.

If your group is close to the limit of a vehicle, or you carry bulky items such as sports gear or several large suitcases, choose the next size up for comfort.

About Heikant

Heikant is a small place, and several localities in Belgium share this name. Before you book, make sure you have the full street address and postcode of your final destination, so the driver can take you to the right Heikant without delay. Having the address and a contact phone number to hand on the day also helps if the driver needs to find a house in a quiet, rural area.
