Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Havelange

The drive from Brussels Airport to Havelange

Havelange lies 100 km (62 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey normally takes around 1 h 6 m. The route leads from the Brussels area into the Walloon countryside, so the final part of the trip is quieter than the start. Traffic around Brussels can slow things down at weekday rush hours and on busy Friday afternoons, so it is sensible to add a little buffer if you have a tight appointment at the other end. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and the trip is arranged as a private door-to-door ride.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle depends mainly on how many people and how much luggage you have:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits individual travellers, couples, and small families or business groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers): a good choice for larger families or groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 and 32 Seats: for wedding parties, sports teams, school groups and company outings.
• Private Minibus 40 and 48 Seats: for large groups travelling together in a single vehicle.

If you are close to the upper limit of a vehicle's capacity and carry a lot of luggage, choosing the next size up gives everyone more space.

About Havelange

Havelange is a small municipality in the province of Namur, in Wallonia, set in the rolling, green Condroz region. It is a rural area of villages, farmland and woods, which makes it popular for quiet stays and countryside walks rather than city sightseeing. Because it is not served like a major city, a private transfer is a straightforward way to reach the exact address you need, whether that is a village house, a holiday rental or a local venue.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can head there directly and meet your driver without delay.
