Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Harzé

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Harzé

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Harzé covers 126 km (79 miles), and the typical driving time is 1 h 20 m. Most of the journey is on motorway, and the last part leads into the quieter countryside of the Ardennes region in the province of Liège.

Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush around Brussels, or in wintry weather, when the final stretch on smaller roads can be slower. Harzé is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so it is best to arrange it ahead of your arrival.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and the amount of luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, families and small groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats, 24 Seats and 32 Seats: for tour parties, clubs and wedding or event guests.
• Private Minibus 40 Seats and 48 Seats: for large groups who want to arrive together in one vehicle.

If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one when you have bulky luggage such as golf bags, strollers or sports equipment.

About Harzé

Harzé is a small village in the municipality of Aywaille, in the Ardennes part of Liège province. It is best known for the Château de Harzé, a historic castle in the village. The area is green and hilly, which makes it popular with walkers and visitors who want a quiet stay away from the cities. Because the village is small, it is useful to have your exact destination address ready when you book.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.
