Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Hansez

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Hansez

The route covers 115 km (72 miles) and typically takes 1 h 17 m by road. Hansez is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other, with a private vehicle taking you directly from the terminal to your address.

The journey begins on the busy roads around Brussels, so allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour. Bad weather, roadworks and heavy traffic can also stretch the trip beyond the usual duration. If you have a tight appointment on arrival, build in a small buffer.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Solo travellers, couples and small families are usually comfortable in a private taxi, available for either 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Choose the larger taxi if you are travelling with four people or carrying a lot of luggage.

Larger parties can book a private minibus. The options are:

• 8 seats for small groups and families
• 16 seats for extended families or friends travelling together
• 24, 32, 40 and 48 seats for events, tours, company groups and other large parties

Please state the number of passengers and bags when you book so the right vehicle is assigned.

About Hansez

Hansez is a small place in Belgium, and the surrounding area is far quieter than the capital region. Visitors usually come to stay with family or friends, attend a private event or explore the countryside. Because there is little commercial infrastructure in such villages, it helps to have the exact address ready for your driver. Roads close to the final destination may be narrow, so a direct transfer is more convenient than arranging several onward connections.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver without delay.
