Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Gruitrode

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Gruitrode

Gruitrode is about 100 km (62 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 1 h 7 m. The route heads east into the province of Limburg. It is a less frequently booked transfer, but it is available on request like every other route. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late afternoon rush around Brussels, or in bad weather. Both can add noticeable minutes before you reach the open stretches further east. Your driver follows the best route for the traffic on the day.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simple choice. There is a version for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. The 4-passenger option gives you a little more room when everyone has a suitcase.

Larger parties can choose from the minibus range:

• Minibus 8 Seats: families or small groups with plenty of luggage
• Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: wedding parties, sports teams and company groups
• Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: large events, tours and big family gatherings arriving together

Pick the size by headcount and luggage, not only by seats. A fuller vehicle makes a long ride more comfortable.
