Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Grotenberge

The Drive from BRU to Grotenberge

The route covers 57 km (35 miles) and typically takes around 48 minutes. Most of the journey is on motorway, heading west and south-west from Zaventem across Flemish Brabant into East Flanders. Grotenberge is not a place many travellers book, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route we serve.

Brussels traffic is the main variable. Weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours around the ring road can add noticeable time, so allow a buffer if you have a fixed appointment, a wedding or a connecting commitment at the other end. Outside peak hours the trip tends to run close to the standard time.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Pick the vehicle based on how many people and how much luggage you are travelling with:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips. Choose the four-passenger option if you want more space for bags.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling together with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats: designed for wedding parties, school or sports groups, company outings and other larger gatherings, with seating for up to 48 passengers on a single vehicle.

If your group sits close to a vehicle's limit, going one size up gives everyone more comfort, especially with bulky luggage.

About Grotenberge

Grotenberge is a small village in East Flanders, part of the municipality of Zottegem. It has a quiet, rural character, with countryside and farmland typical of this part of Flanders, close to the gently rolling landscape of the Flemish Ardennes. Visitors usually come to see family and friends, attend local events or stay in the surrounding area. Since the village is small, it helps to have the exact street address ready when you book so the driver can take you right to the door.
