Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Grootlo

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Grootlo

The route covers 40 km (25 miles) and typically takes around 39 minutes. That is a comfortable transfer after a flight, and it means you can be at your destination without any changes or waiting around for connections. Grootlo is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route from the airport.

Travel times around Brussels depend on the time of day. Morning and late-afternoon traffic on the roads around the capital can add minutes to the journey, so if you have an appointment or a fixed check-in time in Grootlo, build in a little extra margin. Heavy rain or roadworks can have the same effect.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Group

The vehicle you choose depends mainly on how many people and how much luggage you are travelling with:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good option for larger families or friends travelling with plenty of bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: practical for tour groups, clubs and extended family gatherings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large parties such as conference delegations, school trips or wedding guests.

If your group sits close to a size limit, choose the next category up so everyone has room for their luggage.

About Grootlo

Grootlo is a small place in Belgium, and it is best thought of as a quiet, local destination rather than a major tourist centre. Travellers heading there are usually visiting family, friends or a specific address, so it helps to have the exact street and house number ready for your driver. A private transfer takes you directly to the door, which is often the simplest way to reach smaller locations like this one.
