Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Grimbergen

The drive from Brussels Airport to Grimbergen

Grimbergen lies 12 km (8 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey typically takes about 12 minutes. This is an occasionally booked route, so a pre-arranged ride saves you from working out local connections after a flight. Traffic around Brussels can slow things down during the morning and evening rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the right vehicle

For small parties there are two taxi options: a private taxi for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. The second suits a family or a group with a bit more luggage. Larger groups can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. That range covers anything from a business team to a wedding party or a school group, so pick the size that matches your headcount and bags.
