Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Grand-Axhe

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Grand-Axhe

The route covers 68 km (42 miles) and normally takes about 43 minutes. The journey starts at Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) and heads out of the Brussels region by road, so you do not need to navigate or find parking at the other end. Grand-Axhe is not one of our most requested destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Brussels traffic is the main variable. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours on the ring road and the main motorways can add noticeable time, and so can roadworks or bad weather. If you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch, build in a comfortable buffer beyond the typical 43 minutes.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle choice depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have.

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) gives one more seat for a group of four.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats and 16 Seats work well for larger families, friends travelling together or small business teams.
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover bigger groups such as events, tours and company outings.

If you carry a lot of luggage, sports equipment or prams, consider going up one size so everyone travels comfortably.

About Grand-Axhe

Grand-Axhe is a small place in Belgium, and a private transfer is often the simplest way to reach it, since a direct door-to-door link from the airport saves you from planning connections and carrying luggage between stops. Please have the exact address ready when you book so your driver can plan the final part of the route.

Meeting Point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you collect your luggage. Once you have your bags, head there and look for your name on the sign.
