Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Goutroux

The drive from Brussels Airport to Goutroux

Goutroux lies 82 km (51 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 58 minutes. The route heads south through Brussels' ring road area and on into Wallonia. The ring road is the part most likely to cause delays, so allow extra time at weekday rush hours, on Friday afternoons and during bad weather. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other, and your driver plans the journey for the day you travel.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small families usually fit best in a private taxi, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Choose the larger one if you are carrying several suitcases or a pushchair. For larger parties, private minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. They suit family gatherings, wedding guests, sports teams and company groups who want to arrive together rather than split across several cars. If your group is close to a size limit, go up one category so everyone has room for luggage.

About Goutroux

Goutroux is a small village in the province of Hainaut in Wallonia, part of the municipality of Montigny-le-Tilleul, close to the city of Charleroi. It is a quiet, mostly residential area rather than a major tourist destination. For that reason a door-to-door transfer is often the simplest way to get there from the airport. Give your driver the exact street address when you book so the last stretch of the journey goes smoothly.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. It is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight there once you have cleared arrivals.
