Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Goirle

The drive from Brussels Airport to Goirle

Goirle lies 113 km (71 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, across the border in the Netherlands. The typical driving time is 1 h 18 m. A private transfer takes you door to door without changing vehicles, which is a real advantage after a long flight with luggage in tow.

This route is booked less often than the big city connections, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour. Traffic around Brussels and Antwerp can slow the first part of the journey, so the actual time can be longer than the typical 1 h 18 m.

Choosing the right vehicle

For smaller parties, a private taxi is the simplest choice. There is a version for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, so pick the one that matches your group and your bags.

Larger groups can book a private minibus. The options are:

• 8 seats for families or small teams
• 16 seats for mid-sized groups
• 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats for tours, company events and larger parties

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so everyone has room for their luggage.

Goirle and where to stay nearby

Goirle is a town in the province of North Brabant, right next to the larger city of Tilburg. It has a quiet, residential feel, and many visitors come here for business, family visits or for a base in the Brabant countryside.

Goirle itself has little in the way of well-known long-established hotels, so for accommodation it makes sense to look at the nearby city of Tilburg. Two familiar options there are:

• Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum, a central hotel in the city
• Theaterhotel Tilburg, located near the city's theatre district

Both are a short drive from Goirle, so your driver can take you straight to the hotel if you want.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.
