Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Genappe

The drive from Brussels Airport to Genappe

The route covers 37 km (23 miles) and typically takes about 32 minutes. You leave the Zaventem area and head south through the Brussels region towards Walloon Brabant. Genappe is an occasionally booked destination, so a pre-arranged transfer is the simplest way to get there. Weekday rush hours around the Brussels ring can add time, especially on the morning run towards the city and the evening run out of it. If you have a tight appointment or a connection to make, plan a little extra margin.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups are well served by a private taxi, available for 1-3 passengers or 1-4 passengers. Choose the larger option if you travel with several suitcases or a child seat. For families, teams or friends travelling together, private minibuses come with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits wedding parties, corporate groups, school trips and sports teams heading to Genappe and the surrounding area. Pick the vehicle by the number of travellers and the amount of luggage, so everyone rides in one comfortable vehicle.

Genappe as a destination

Genappe is a municipality in the province of Walloon Brabant, south of Brussels. It is best known for its historical link to the 1815 campaign, as the Quatre-Bras crossroads lies nearby and the Waterloo battlefield is not far away. The area is mostly green and residential, with villages, farmland and quiet roads. Give your driver the exact street address when you book, since the municipality is made up of several smaller villages.
